She’s got my love to keep her warm

Okay, so these are just home pictures of my little lady, but I had to share her newest fashion accessory. I picked up these adorable fuzzy leg warmers at Peapods children’s boutique in Saint Paul this weekend. It’s a lovely store with all kinds of natural children’s items, if you’re from the Twin Cities.

But my very favorite local boutique, Bekah Kate’s in downtown Baraboo, also carries this brand, called Baby Legs.

Wouldn’t these be adorable for a baby photo session? I was thinking for a bigger baby who could sit on his/her own or stand holding on to a chair, with just a onesie, so as to really showcase those chubby baby legs we all love.

People often ask me what their children should wear for their photo sessions, and with the exception of newborns, whom I prefer nekkid, I always emphasize “color, texture, comfort.” Those three things bring out the best in your children and help elevate your photos to art. These baby legwarmers fit the bill perfectly. Doesn’t it make you smile just to look at them?…
