Senior Session: Casey
Casey was so very excited for her senior session, and her enthusiasm was contagious.
This was actually her second time around — she already had her photos taken by a bigger studio, but was disappointed in the result: A lot of pictures using the exact same poses and exact same backgrounds as everyone else, and nothing that was really her. The photos looked like a regular school photo, she said, not something that made you say, “Wow, now that’s a senior picture.” So I tried to make that happen for her.
Casey’s on the Baraboo High School T-Birds softball team, so she wanted some photos at Pierce Park, where she plays. It was her idea to lay down on home plate; I think it turned out so cool.
Then when she got up the back of her jersey was all dusty, which I loved, so I snapped this shot.
She also had a very sweet smile…
And she’s a bowler who loves the color pink (note the pink shirt, pink ball, and pink shoes), so we grabbed a few shots on the lane at Thunderbird Lanes.
Thanks, Casey, for giving it another go and for all of your energy and awesome ideas. Good luck this season!
