Letting boys be boys // Baraboo family photographer

I have a soft spot in my heart for brothers, having two sons who are best buds. Most of the time.

I just love the way brothers interact with each other — the mercurial relationships that bounce from snuggling one moment to wrestling the next, from giggling until boogers are coming out their noses to crying because one punched the other and then back, like a circle, to snuggling. There’s nothing like it.

And you can’t tell brothers to sit still and smile. It just doesn’t work that way. You have to let boys be, well, boys.
