Amy and Chris: I Do

This weekend I got to be part of the wedding of Amy and Chris, college sweethearts whose lovely families fit together as beautifully as they did.

The ladies started the day at Aniu Salon and Spa in Middleton, which did an amazing job with hair and make-up.

Of course, with how gorgeous Amy was to begin with, I’m sure that wasn’t hard.

Even the sweet little flower girl got to get pampered.

I adored Amy’s hair. It was side-swept and elegant and went perfectly with her dress.

You have to love a groom who’s this excited to get married.

Both Amy and her dad were holding back tears. So sweet.

The wedding was in the stunning Holy Redeemer Catholic Church downtown Madison.

We briefly stopped at the Capitol on the way to the reception. It was frigid but the ladies braved it in their strapless dresses for a quick group photo.

The reception hall at the Concourse Hotel was decorated for the holidays and had a lovely atmosphere.

And Chris and Amy’s friends and family really knew how to get down.
