One-year Session: Will

I photographed Will with his two older brothers about six months ago and he came back this week for his one-year session. He’s grown so much, as babies always do in that first year, but his amazing big blue eyes and super expressive face thankfully haven’t changed a bit.

His parents wanted photos against a backdrop, which I don’t do often, but I was happy to oblige. It was a reminder that when backdrops are used well (simple, with no fake scenery or corny props) they can really highlight a child’s features and expression.

This one probably qualifies as an outtake, but I love the matching expressions of Will and his look-alike dad.
